Skis can be used as a go anywhere dolly track and are obviously an excellent mode of transportation for a filmer on the mountain. I lived at Big White Ski Resort in Kelowna , B.C for 3 years and have lived in Whistler ever since .
These skills can be very useful capturing the riding of people who have never been filmed like this before . Normal people would love to be able to show everyone what they are doing in a representative way without the hassle or unreliability of relying on friends or filming yourself.

We do everything we can to ensure our filming techniques are constantly evolving and this year we are proud to introduce the Panasonic GH2 into our arsenal.
Most of my videos have follow-cam in them Some have shots achieved by me jumping with the camera over 50-60ft Jumps . Good times .

Epic Mountain Video
Peter, I believe you spoke to Belinda Mortidge recently about doing a video for a client of hers coming to Whister at the end of this month. That client is a very dear friend of mine and he has a birthday coming up so I thought it would be cool to have a video made of him sking. Belinda escorts him and his friends on the mountain. She would be the contact person. I am thinking about 3 or 4 hours. Maybe in that footage you could get him hanging out with his friends in the village as well since that is where they are staying. I welcome any of your own thoughts as well. I would like to get a rate from you to make sure I can afford you first.
Thanks! Jacqueline Cardenas
